Same. I’m making more now than I ever have and I’m poorer than I’ve ever been.

This is my gripe. My grandfather worked at the nuclear plant some 30+ years. 

He had: House, 2 cars, Motorhome, Pension, 3 kids, 2 x 2 wk vacations per year, Retired like a month before the plant closed as an ACO and started there as a security guard.

I make more than he ever made per year and my wife and I live in 2 5th wheel trailers unable to get ahead on our own. Granted we do help take care of my 97yr old grandma and my disabled parents.
