Started at 14 as well and am 40. Quit my job 6 weeks ago. Why? I just really didn't wanna fucking be there anymore. No idea what I'm doing.

Maybe this is a vibe? Its almost like getting the ick with your employer and I just can't do such demanding work when I now give 0 fucks. Quit my job of 6 years at 37, been in this biotech career for 15 years and I'm just over it.

A lot of my boomer colleagues have over 40 years of experience at 60. Same role, same, company, 40+ years. I can't imagine.
