Hello, I managed to get Onimusha running on my deck after a lot of trial and error, but the first boot forces you to pick some settings, one of the screens asks you to verify your age. My keyboard and deck controls work fine until I reach that part, no matter what I do it refuses to put anything into the box.

I deleted the dinput.dll since that was giving me a black screen.

I'm using the GE-11-7 linuwux reworked version, but I have tried other older ones and it doesn't work. I'm running it through steam, not any other launcher like Lutris or the like, has anyone had this same issue?

I'm using the STEAMRIP version of the game. Saw something about changing something in steam_settings but that changed nothing. Anyone know how to fix? Using Proton Experimental if that makes a difference. I've tried with and without the onlinefix patches. I am on Steam Deck, running steamos.

Edit: If you use the gamedrive version it should work fine, as that is what i did

Hi, i have downloaded Satisfactory from Steamrip using Hydra Launcher, and whenever i try to boot up the game i get the error:

"Failed to open descriptor file ../../../FactoryGameSteam/FactoryGameSteam.uproject".

I think this just means that the game files are corrupted, but alot i see some people saying that just applying some sort of crack fixed it for other UE games. I just want to ask here if there is anything i can do before just trying to install the game with another source like fitgirl or ankergames. I have checked and there is a few posts having the same issue as me but on other games, but i couldnt find a fix. Any help would be appreciated

I’m using (or trying to use, anyway) a copy of PES 2021 on Steam Deck with CPY crack and when launching the game it kicks an error saying “Unable to create interface ISteamUser” then closes the game. I’ve used all sorts of Proton compatibility modes in launch options, tried using a wine DLL override and tried adding the exe in Lutris and booting it from there using WineGE, all with no luck.

Is there a proven fix to get this to run properly or am I just stuck with playing on Windows?

Whenever I try to launch the game it gives me this error it says failed to open descriptor file ../../../b1/b1.uproject proton version doesn’t seem to matter and Im not sure how to get it working does anyone have a solution? I replaced the b1 and engine in the game files with the crack fix been trouble shooting all day. At first I needed Vcrun2022 then the crack fix now it gives me this

I got it from anker games pre installed games just like steam rip they used a bat file to make it easier to run but the game should be the same

trying to get the sims 3 working on my steamdeck, i installed Via wine and a tutorial (I'm unsure if I can link here) on reddit, it launches fine outside of steam (thru wine) but it says "unable to start, please reinstall base game" im running it through GE Proton10-34 compatibility tool but ive used a few other Proton tools as well.

Im assuming it has to do with Proton.

Hi. I can't get it to run. Tried stimrip and fitgirl. First after installing it doesnt run due to missing c++ redistributable. After installing missing dll using protontricks the game starts fine and then gets stuck on the first now loading. Tried proton 9/10 experimental and 10-34 ge. Did anyone get it to run?

hi! the EA dlc unlocker should go into a wine folder for the EA app - and then run a setup_linux.sh

it works fine, because the directories so far have been without spaces, BUT

the EA dlc unlocker folder *itself* contains spaces. so when i try to run setup_linux.sh, it tells me:

Could not find '/home/.../Roaming/anadius/EA'

it's looking for /anadius/EA DLC Unlocker v2/, but it can't find it because it contains spaces

so i tried renaming it! i renamed it to ea_dlc_... , and opened the .sh file in kate, and edited any EA DLC Unlocker to EA_DLC_you get the deal

but now it finds the folder.... but for some reason can't find the setup_linux.sh? im quite literally RUNNING the setup linux, and it's telling me it can't find itself

what am i doing wrong?

tldr: how do i make a .sh file find a directory which contains spaces

UPDATE: Found a fix! You first need to put your game into Windowed on desktop mode, then proceed to start the game on Gaming mode. It worked perfectly on my end!

Game is working fine with the latest online-fix update on desktop mode, but when I start it on Steam Gaming Mode, it presents itself with a black screen, probably because of Spacewar running in the background.

I am running via the forzahorizon6loader.exe if that helps.

Installed the voices38 crack for Stellar Blade on my steam deck, yet no matter what I do the game will not launch. It opens to the same error: “Unable to initialize SteamAPI. Please make sure Steam is running and you are logged into an account entitled to the game.”

Quite irritatingly, I’m away from home so don’t have the internet for a reinstall. I’m curious as to whether this is fixable or if I need to wait to get home and reinstall.

Hey guys, I'm trying to install anadius mirror dlc unlocker and run it, but whenever I open it and run it through the terminal, it shows up with this error:

Warning: Could not find '/home/deck/Downloads/EA', starting '/bin/bash' instead.  Please check your profile settings

I have tried setting my default profile settings to /bin/bash but I have had no luck. Any help is appreciated!

Whenever I try to play the game won't start, only shows a black screen, than crash back to home again.

So I re-downloaded lethal company cuz I needed to update it since a friend got a laptop that can actually run it. Now, before I say the rest I should clarify I'm using the correct launch option for onlinefix (copied it from here) and spacewar is running in the background (although after some hell of realizing proton experimental doesn't work and had to switch to proton 10) so I don't think I'm doing anything wrong

My issue is, lobbies don't show up on my deck. Normally I'd think it was the launch options but their filled and complete. Is anyone else having this issue? And how do I fix this?

Weirder thing is, it worked a singular time, but after restarting my steam deck, it suddenly stopped working?

I'm on a Steam Deck on SteamOS, I installed latest RoN version from fitgirl along with the online fix (in pinned comment on very bottom) I replaced the 3 files needed, added as non steam game with proton-GE and just closes, it should open my browser and prompt to sign into epic games to work. since I've done it before on Windows.

I've tried WINEDLLOVERRIDES="OnlineFix64=n;SteamOverlay64=n;winmm=n,b;dnet=n;steam_api64=n" in the launch directory, different proton's, and Steam Online Fix Launcher (SOFL) and that doesn't do anything after running the game.

Could anyone help with this? I'm debating just getting the crack from buzzheavier since it comes with it preinstalled possibly atp. im new to this, so thank you in advance!

So, i was able to get civ 7 for linux installed properly with the crack on the steam deck.

it works great, but the game doesn't give me a gamepad layout, i have to use a keyboard and mouse.

Does anyone know the reason for this? it's using a goldberg emu as a crack and i saw that causes this issue sometimes, but does anyone know a proper fix?

I tried the downloader from the site but they don’t work. I know I can try to download it on windows and transfer it if I had a spare SD that wasn’t already translated for linux

Hi! So, I installed the Dragon Ball FighterZ DODI repack on my Steam Deck, and it won't launch in game mode or desktop mode, no matter what I do. I installed it using Wine, the same method I use to install FitGirl repacks. Normally, I would've just gone with the FitGirl repack, but that repack is out of date compared to the DODI one and doesn't include the latest DLCs. I tried using Goldberg, as described here, but that didn't work, either. I'm using Proton Experimental as my compatibility layer, which I've used for all my cracked games so far without any issue, and it just won't budge. How do I fix this?

I am trying to get Dragon Ball Sparking Zero (tried Fitgirl and Dodi) to work on the Steam Deck. I have added the STEAM_COMPAT_DATA_PATH= [paste ONE VC_Redist file location] %command% launch option but when I try to launch it, it starts and immediately stops without any output.

Anyone any ideas? I tried it with:

• both Fitgirl/Dodi
• SteamOS fully updated (stable)
• Proton Experimental, 9 and Proton GE 9.16

Couldn't find a alive torrent for sottr. Wasted 4 days on 1 that had a download speed of 100kbps. Downloaded an older version from linux rulez 1.0.296. but after installing it has a red tint in game. If anyone can help me fix the red tint issue on the one i downloaded already it would be much appreciated.

P. S. I'm not using the proton one cause the native linux one offers 8 10 more fps in the game and that's like playing on 30fps on medium settings on proton vs 40fps on native.

Issue: Game has red tint and runs in the background while playing in game mode.

I added the exe to Lutris and tried different protons with it. I downloaded the dlls that the game might need (vcrun and others), and I also saw that someone else in this sub added a WINEDLLOVERRIDES="OnlineFix64=n;SteamOverlay64=n;winmm=n,b;dnet=n;steam_api64=n;winhttp=n,b" %command%, so I tried that too (incl. Adding it in the other menu, as opposed to just using the command.)

The game just exists with an exit code of 0.
