Made the mistake of engaging with another subreddit, won’t say which other then to say they advocated gun ownership and got really upset when asked how to engage with gun control leftists.

The members of that subreddit insisted there are no leftists who are for gun control; they were big upset that anyone would say otherwise. Big. Upset.

Not trying to start anything; wondering if any of you lovely folks consider yourselves to be “Leftists”.

My boyfriend and I have been living together in his house for the past 6 weeks. It's his house and our relationship has been up and down. Some days it's so much fun, but other days it's bad based off of what is going on in his personal life. He has never been violent toward me in any way, but he and his friends have made comments about him owning a gun.

Since our relationship is going down, sometimes he's mentally abusive because he says he wants to break up but keeps apologizing the next day. I'm starting to feel unsafe around him and even his friends and my friends have said to be careful around him.

This gun thing is really paraoining me because I've heard about so much domestic gun violence.

We live in North Carolina, and my question is if I can find out based off of some online or law enforcement record of this man owns a gun?
