How to scale

I’ve been hustling my business for many many years, and what I’ve learnt is growing organically..it’s just a repeat of two steps forward two steps back, and I’m realising that possibly the way to scale is through M&A activity.. i’m not in the States so perhaps that’s a challenge, but in my country there is no financial support for acquiring businesses at interest rates that makes sense… So I’m curious, I feel there is a secret sauce that I’m missing.. How do you scale a services business profitably?? Where do you get money from? How do you not stuff up the acquisition? How do you talk down mad evaluations??

Has anyone got a 15-22 dollar job and just saved all the for maybe 6 months and started a business and it was successful before? I really want to know because that's possibly the road I'm gonna take.

As new business owner, how do you decide what to sell?

As new business owner, how do you decide what to sell at your store? I have a website and I sell a little bit of everything.

For example, I used to sell via FB marketplace to my local community. I'd buy productA, productB, and productC (which I didn't think would sell) and they sold immediately. I'd also buy productX, productY, productZ and I still have them at the store.

How do you decide what to sell?

Which retail stores require down payment for some products?

What retail stores have products that require a down payment to make sure that the customer is serious about buying it?

For example, I want to post an $800 TV on our website (it costs me $500), but I don't want to buy it unless the customer makes a $200 (25%) down payment.

How can I convey this information on our product page for this product?
