Am I doing this right? I was used to my OG AirPods Max having drain since those just went into like a sleep or low power mode. But the 360s have a physical power button. This drain is happening constantly. As a recent point of reference, I charged them up to 100% over the weekend and unplugged them either Saturday night or Sunday morning. Haven’t used them since then. Finally turned them on tonight (so maybe 36-48 hours later) and they show at 80% charge.

I am conflicted between the Airpods Pro 3 and Powerbeats pro 2.
I intend to use them for walking and workouts primarily but also some casual/work related purposes. All in all, a good all round experience without trading off much in sound and microphone quality.
A question for existing PBP2 users, has the iOS 27 update added an equalizer for the PBP2 and has it done it any good in terms of audio quality experience or any feature worth mentioning? All reviews online are a year old with no real updates.
Also, any rumors about Powerbeats pro 3 in the near around future? Given the Powerbeats track record, there still are a couple of years until that happens, but any news for near future?

So the hiss and the battery drain is something that could be fixed through an update? Or it’s something of the hardware?
I love my 360’s I already bought a second pair of earcups. I think they are the most comfortable headphones I’ve ever worn. I expected a bit more of the sound for 350€ price.
But the hiss and the battery drain is so annoying. I’m guessing they would do something quick with these issues right?
I had them for more than 2 weeks so I don’t know if I’m available to return them but I don’t even want to. But for that price I feel like I was scammed with the many problems

hey there, looking for info on whether or not a return swap could work.
I received beats studio buds for my birthday like two weeks ago, and the right one didn't/doesn't work, I did all the troubleshooting. Unfortunately, before I bothered to test if the product that was bought for me would work as expected, I engraved my name on the back yes I know it was stupid, it's small but still probably ineligible for a refund. A new set just arrived and I'm wondering if I could go to an Apple store, have the techs configure the busted earbuds with the new fresh case and the new fresh earbuds with the engraved case and return the busted set with the fresh case. Would the resellers who both of these cases were bought from be able to tell that I swapped the cases?

I picked it up earlier from best buy because I wanted a new speaker and I don’t regret this purchase in the slightest, it packs a mean punch on the bass and vocals

Yes my studio3 is still alive. Anyways, my transparency mode seems to not even exist. I can’t switch to transparency mode, and if I do it makes no difference in sound.

Just grabbed these for the nostalgia and to go back to wired headphones when possible. Want to make sure they're legitimate. Seems to be post monster/beats split and post apple acquisition based on the pro labeling

Also they no longer connect to anything. Exchange I guess? What a horrible product.

Switched from Knit ear cups (most negative YouTube reviews always have these on, probably, because of the “fun” colors) to Ultra plush, and the hiss became much less noticeable. Could just be my experience but it made them much more enjoyable to wear

Android phone.
Had these for about two years now. They were working just fine but I had to reset my phone to factory. Since then I've got nothing.
Every single thread or tip I've read on how to fix these starts with the button on the inside of the case. Mine doesn't do anything. The light stays white and doesn't every start blinking red and white no matter how long I hold it down.
The app also doesn't do anything, I think (mainly) cause the case button doesn't do anything to allow it to pair.
Anyone have any other suggestions on anything to try?

When you are had Apple swap in-store, did they offer any different colors? I’m thinking about having these black swapped for the cloud white due to the oils showing more on the black model
When I went to one of my local Apple stores, and they found out I didn’t purchase them directly from Apple but Target. They offered to ship the headphones out, have them inspected, and wait two weeks thinking about going to one that is further from my home, but want to know if it’s worth it.
Also has anyone had any luck swapping these out at Target where they originally purchased them?

Salut la commu.
Petit historique.

I have tried four (I repeat FOUR) different pairs and never managed to escape the background hiss. As you can tell, I really wanted them to work and was hoping I could land on a normal pair.
I have been considering all alternatives lately, even on-ear ones (so stylish right now) to have while Beats/Apple figure all this out. Wanted to share that I’ve now landed on the CMF Headphone Pro and placed an order.
I am a sucker for Apple ecosystem compatibility, but in the end, I feel like these are a strong (and very competitively priced) contender to make me ignore that. They hit a lot of the same high-interest features for me: a clean aesthetic, user-swappable replacement cushions in fun colors, and an IPX2 rating for sweat and splash resistance. Ultimately, I really need ANC for a long haul flight coming up too.
Given the massive price difference between these and the 360s, I feel these are a good plan b while waiting to see if Beats ever rolls out a real fix. Has anyone else considered these or made the switch?

I have been in a hunt for gym headphones so I was excited for the 360 announcement. I feel like it’s too much money to spend $350 from what I have been seeing in the reviews. Has anyone tried the Matt white Beats Studio pros

I bought these Beats Studio Buds about two years ago but never used them. Last week, I finally took them out of the box and decided to use them.
I charged the case, and my iPhone showed that the Beats and both earbuds were fully charged.
The problem is that the Beats only stay connected to my iPhone while the earbuds are inside the case. As soon as I remove an earbud to put it in my ear, the connection immediately disappears/disconnects.
I have tried:
Forgetting the Beats from Bluetooth and pairing them again
Resetting the Beats
Putting both earbuds back in the case and reconnecting
Testing the left earbud by itself
Testing the right earbud by itself
Restarting my iPhone
Repeating the pairing process multiple times
The result is always the same.
If both earbuds are inside the case, my iPhone recognizes the Beats and shows the battery levels. If I remove the left earbud, the connection disappears. If I put it back in the case, the Beats reconnect. I get exactly the same behavior with the right earbud.
So both earbuds work/are recognized while inside the case, but neither one will stay connected once removed from the case.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is there anything else I can try, or does this sound like a hardware/battery issue even though the iPhone shows both earbuds as fully charged?

Given all the negative posts, I just wanted to post a positive message about the beats 360. I got them for £250 (uk), arrived with the latest firmware and no hissing. I’m far from an audiophile, and probably to be honest can’t really tell the differences in sound for my use cases, so that’s the first disclaimer! Disclaimer number 2 is that I own AirPods Max 2, AirPods Pro 3 but have not tried any of the other popular headphones.
In terms of the beats I’ve used them for running, work teams calls, walking the dog (podcasts and music) and use them daily in the gym. They are light, and extremely comfortable.
The AirPods Max 2 are heavier, and much more uncomfortable and I don’t enjoy wearing them out and about so keeping the beats, very happy with them. They do exactly what I want whilst being very light and comfortable. Interchangeable cushions is another nice perk (even better that they are currently 10 pounds per different colour pathway)
So in summary, I’m delighted with them at that price. I’ve been using them non stop and will continue to use as my daily drivers.

Noticed the hiss was louder today for some reason, reset them by holding the power button till they blinked red, reduced the hiss by like 90%. Supports the idea that this is defo a software issue

I really wanted to like these headphones I even came in this community trying to defend them but these headphones are absolutely terrible I cannot believe I even spent my money on them. I’ve returned them for AirPod maxes 2 which I’m so disappointed because AirPod maxes are uncomfortable and heavy which is why I really wanted the beats 360 but beats didn’t do a good job with these and I’ll tell you why.
Hissing
The hissing is absolutely terrible even after the update you could hear it.. it was unacceptable even when I told the workers at Apple they were in shock.
The comfort
Now don’t get it wrong these are very comfortable and lighter then the maxes but oh my gosh they made my ears feel so hot!! And my ears really felt uncomfortable also the clamping is WAY too tight on these even the maxes feel better it’s just their heavy…
Sound quality
Now I don’t really care about sound quality because all I care is about comfortable headphones that get me through my day or journeys but the sound quality is terrible no BASS at all. When you put the volume up it’s like the highs hurt your ears. The sound quality is not good enough for them to be making people pay $300+ it’s ridiculous
Overall
Don’t waste your time with these I really tried with these headphones but it’s not worth your money or time just get AirPods or airpod maxes. I’m
Very disappointed with beats

I recently lost the right earbud from my original Beats Studio Buds, which I purchased through Amazon about 3–4 years ago.
I know it's well outside the warranty period and that accidental loss isn't normally covered, but I'm wondering if anyone has managed to get a free replacement through Apple's goodwill or courtesy exceptions.
Has anyone had success asking Apple/Beats support for a one-time replacement, discount, or other accommodation? If so, how did you approach it, and is there anything specific I should ask for?
Also curious whether Amazon might offer any goodwill assistance given how long ago I purchased them.
