Hey all,

I'm the developer of Screentide, a flexible screen-time manager for Android.

I'm giving away 495 lifetime Screentide Gold licences, currently valued at $19.99.

Screentide is a flexible screen-time manager built especially for Android that helps you cut back on distracting apps and websites using smart triggers, schedules and different levels of intervention, from subtle friction through to a strict block.

A few things that make it different:

• 🐢 Slow distracting apps and websites down to near dial-up speeds instead of completely blocking them. Text and lighter content can remain usable, while videos and other rich media become much less tempting.
• 🌑 Darken gradually dims distracting apps as your usage builds, adding subtle visual friction before you reach the point of needing a hard block.
• ⏸️ Pause or Block when you want a stronger intervention.
• 📅 Calendar integration lets rules automatically run during matching events, such as work, study or meetings. You don't even need to open the app (because that's the point, right?).
• 📍 Smart triggers include Wi-Fi, location, charging state and NFC/QR scans.
• ⏰ Flexible scheduling with recurring weekly schedules, one-off periods and timers.
• 📱 Apps + websites can be included in the same rules, with presets for adult, social, streaming and gambling sites.
• 📊 Hourly usage tracking and trends show when you use your phone most, with day, week, month and longer-term views.
• 🔒 No account required. Screentide runs locally on your device.

Free vs Gold

While you can use all the core features for free, Screentide Gold is for more advanced setups. It unlocks:

• More than 3 rules
• More than 1 location trigger, synced calendar
• Combining multiple trigger conditions or actions within a rule
• Longer visible history of usage data

This is a lifetime unlock, not a subscription!

Feedback would be great, especially if something doesn't work as expected. Android development in this space is tricky because different devices and OS versions can behave differently, and I haven't been able to test every device.

If you do run into an issue, please report it through the feedback form in the app so I can get to the bottom of it.

Hope it helps users cut down on their screen time!

Hi everyone

I created TimerTodd because most timer apps are either full of hyper-stimulating animations or display fast-ticking seconds that cause anxiety for young toddlers who don't yet understand abstract seconds.

Key features: • Toddler-friendly visual pacing: Shows whole minutes only—no confusing second counters. • Calm, intentional palette: Soft tones (Fox Orange, Warm Amber, Sage Green) designed to avoid sensory overload. • 100% Private & Clean: No ads, no in-app purchases, no tracking, and works completely offline.

It's currently on a 100% free sale on Google Play. I'd love to hear any feedback or suggestions from parents and educators!

I posted this app earlier before, but that was for iOS, and the android version has just been launched.

It is a counting sheep game that I've created for people who want to improve their cognition while having some fun playing. In the game, you will count sheep entering the pen, coming down from trucks, switching between cottages and see if they follow the signpost.

The free download lasts two weeks from now. So free forever if downloaded before that date. No ads, no subscriptions.

I hope you enjoy it.

Promies link above: 500 codes for free lifetime unlock. No strings attached.
Valid until Nov 30 2026 or when they run out. Redeem in the Play Store.

Hard Graft is a focus timer that treats you like a grownup.

There are no pomodoro rounds and no break bells, and no trees to plant. You clock on, you work for as long as you want, you clock off. The app writes down how long you worked for and adds it to a rolling seven-day total. That total decides your rank.

There are 24 ranks. You start as DEAD WEIGHT. Put the hours in and you climb. Ease off and you slide back down (consistency is what matters). The Regulator hands out the promotions and the demotions. It is a machine with no interest in your excuses. It just cares about hours. It is fair, and that is the nicest thing anyone will say about it.

HOW IT WORKS

• Flowtime. A count-up clock that runs until you stop it. Work at your own rhythm and clock off when you need a break, not when a bell says so.
• A rank ladder with 24 ranks that follow your rolling seven-day hours.
• Jobs: name what you are working on, tag each shift, and see statistics of where your hours went. Anything can be a 'job' (work, study, gym, cleaning...).
• 40 achievements to collect.
• Quiet mode. Switch off the ranks, the achievements and The Regulator, and keep the timer and the record. Some days you just want a stopwatch.
• No streaks and no record of demotions. You can recover from a bad week and leave no trace.
• You own your data. Export the whole thing and import it on a new phone.

WHAT TO USE IT FOR

Use it as a study timer for revision and exams, a work timer for deep work, a productivity timer for a side project or, in quiet mode, a plain stopwatch. Tag each shift to whatever you've been avoiding and the record shows where the hours went, so it doubles as a time tracker for freelance or study hours. My brother uses it to track his workouts. It runs offline and keeps counting with the screen off.

BUILT FOR PRIVACY

Everything stays on your phone. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. The app makes no network calls of its own. The only things that use the internet are Google Play's own billing and review prompt.

ONE OPTIONAL UNLOCK

The free version is the timer, the record, the jobs, the statistics and the ladder up to rank 13. One purchase (redeem the promo code above) unlocks the whole app and opens the remaining ten ranks, shows what it takes to collect each achievement, and adds two extra colour schemes. You get it once and it is yours. No subscription.

A NOTE FROM THE DEVELOPER

I built Hard Graft because I have ADHD and couldn't find a focus timer that worked the way I do. Most productivity timers want to be your friend, plant a tree for you, or charge you monthly for the privilege. I make this on my own, around a full-time job, so I have no reason to collect your data or rent you a subscription. I wanted a tool I would find useful (I use it every day), one with a personality, that tells me the truth about what I did and then minds its own business.

If that sounds like your kind of thing, clock on.

Take selfies with your kids actually looking at the camera. DotCam gives your kids something fun to look at, leading their eyes toward the camera lens when the photo is taken.

I'm a software engineer. This app was inspired because an eatery establishment provided qr codes which added a parameter &phone_required=true This parameter forced all guests to enter a phone number when ordering.

I made this app so I could scan, easily remove the parameter, and open the link.

I also threw in a couple of features as well to protect myself from quishing.

* Malware/scam site blocking

* Homographic attack detection

Using this for my personal use case. Shaing with y'all too, hope you find it useful!

I'd love to hear which use cases people think work best with photo reminders.

Force your kids to practice the multiplication table! This app periodically locks their screen until they solve a math problem to get back in. Free for a limited time.

My iOS app unexpectedly blew up (thanks r/AppHookup!) and brought in thousands of installs and messages, including a ton of requests for the Android app.

So I decided to give away Android version as well. However, unlike the App Store, Google Play doesn’t allow me to set the price of an in-app purchase to $0.00.

As a workaround, I’ve dropped the lifetime to $0.10 (the lowest price I've managed to set) for anyone who wants it tied to their Google account. The deal is valid through July 30.

I’d happily give it away for free like on iOS, but Google doesn’t support $0 pricing, backend unlocks aren’t allowed here, and promo codes are a pain to manage one by one.
