Off Topic [OT] Spotlight: Tuftsie
Writers Spotlight
This week's spotlight writer is Tuftsie! u/Tuftsie has been with us for a couple of years now, and accumulated quite a backlog of stories. I have noticed them around on a few prompts here and there before, but I must admit they have a lot more stories than even I had thought! Though u/Tuftsie doesn’t have a subreddit yet, you can check out more of their stories on their profile for now!
Spotlight relies on your nominations. If you see a writer who has been around the sub for a while, who has at least six (or more!) high quality submissions, and who hasn't been given the Spotlight before, send us a modmail and let us know!
Here are some of u/Tuftsie‘s most upvoted stories of all time:

Congrats /u/Tuftsie !! We've not met on the sub yet (this is as good a time as any) but love some of your stories!
Hmmm, now is there a plot point/turn in one of your stories that you wish you could undo/take back/turn left when you look back at it? And if so - what is it and why?

Hmm, the one that comes to mind I don't believe is in a story I posted here, but I honestly don't remember where it's posted (if it is at all and not just collecting dust in my drafts somewhere) where the twist of the story was that the main character was revealed to be a "crazy psycho". Now I don't really care for that description at all, since I have gotten a better understanding of mental health and the stigma society has towards them so if I ever were to return to it I would definitely not take that direction

Congrats on the spotlight u/Tuftsie! I read a couple of the stories linked and loved them!
So what's your favourite genre to write. And to read. Any story not listed above that you particularly liked?

Thank you so much! This is definitely a nice surprise for a Monday morning haha. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed reading them!
Definitely my favourite genre, both for reading and for writing, is fantasy. I love learning and making new rules for new worlds where myth and magic comes to life and how people live among them.
One story that I liked quite a bit was one I wrote a few months back, about the four horsemen mainly because I've been a bit obsessed with stories about them and felt like the prompt was a good opportunity to try them out for myself:
Again, thank you! I am looking forward to many more years of both reading the great works on this sub and writing some stories of my own!

A bit late congratulations /u/Tuftsie!
Here's two questions! Tell me some terrible things you really like, and why! And did you know that cashew comes from the fruit?
